V. V. Soliven Group of Companies

The VV Soliven Group of Companies first started with the name V.V. Soliven Realty and Associates (VVSRA). Young realtors Victorio and Purita Soliven established it in 1965. The enterprise initially sold subdivisions owned by reputable developers and landowners. The first year proved to be successful so the office along Washington Street in Sampaloc, Manila soon expanded with branches in Grace Park, España Extension, Aurora and Shaw Boulevard. In 1968 they incorporated the V.V. Soliven Realty and Associates now called the V.V. Soliven Realty Corporation. They moved to their new and larger office along Timog Avenue, Quezon City. From just selling exclusive subdivisions, they branched out into construction of houses and development of subdivisions. They formed Solid Builders Inc. (SBI) to take care of the vertical construction like houses, buildings and shopping centers. They also formed Speed Construction and Development Corporation to do the horizontal construction.

In the 1970s, these companies engaged in the operation of housing projects in Capitol Park Homes, Diamond Hills, Quezon City Green heights, Antipolo Green heights, South Green heights (55 hectares) and Parañaque Green heights (45 hectares). While Speed Construction developed the subdivisions, SBI build the houses and the VVSRC handled the marketing and the exclusive selling of these projects.
