In support of the company’s direction to become a major real estate player in Metro Manila and the CALABARZON, CHMI entered into a joint development agreement with the Encarnacion family, which owns a 25-hectare property located along a municipal road in Baranggay Palo Alto in Calamba. Baranggay Palo-Alto is considered a prime residential district in Calamba. Alongside these land parcels are residential subdivisions such as Palo AltoHighlands and Palo Alto Executive. In close proximity is a vast track of land owned by the Yulo’s and will be developed by the Ayala group into a MegaCity. The project is also proximate to major employment centers such as the Calamba PremierIndustrial Park which houses major locators such as Avon, Samsung and Nestle Philippines, Carmelray 1, Silangan Industrial and CanlubangIndustrial Park. The property can be reached by going south of Metro Manila via the South Superhighway then taking the Mayapa Exit. It is barely five (5) kilometers from the Mayapa Exit and is near major schools, markets and hospitals.

Hacienda Hill is the first phase of the 25-hectare property, which was launched in September 2003. It was undertaken by CHMI Land, Inc.

CHMI Land, Inc. took over the development of Hacienda Hill which was initially being developed by the Landowner and another joint venture partner. This group failed to sell and complete the project after years of introducing it to the market. With the company taking on this development, it was sold and completed in a period of two years.
