Pablito Calma’s Clipp Machenson’s Holdings Inc. is famous for its high-profile Bonifacio Global City office and retail complex. Calma Pablito was born on January 15, 1930, and he earned a degree in civil engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology in 1959. When the leisure and hospitality hotel industry boomed in the 1970s, he recognized the need for construction finesse and invented the term “Interior Finishing.” He helped with almost every hotel renovation ever. His architect brother Lor, with whom he shared a successful design firm, was a close collaborator.
